Etsy meets Hong Kong
Posted on November 20 2015
The thing I love most about traveling is the complete randomness of it all. You never know what's going to happen next. On a Friday night in Hong Kong whilst wandering round the PMQ building, I stumbled into Hong Kong's first Etsy event in the city.
It's always inspiring to me to meet other creative people and as a fanatic of Etsy - it was great to see products in real life, normally only available to see through a screen. I also love how Etsy brings creative people together from around the globe with one common interest.
We met a creative sister duo called Two Fold who are Toronto born but now living in Hong Kong. They specialise in custom stationary and paper goods, so we jumped at the chance when they asked if we wanted a little customised Island Threads notebook and gift tags. There is something really special about having something made just for you, which is what we are all about at Island Threads! Check out their online shop here for ideas or if you are looking for something made just for you.
Thanks Two Fold x
